Articles about climate, energy, materials, or risk describe how systems behave — they do not know your building, your land, your body, or your balance sheet. Do not site a home, size a structure, price a risk, or change what you do about your health on the basis of something you read here. Decisions like those belong with licensed professionals who can see your specifics.
Every piece is an argument about mechanism — the lever, the feedback loop, the rate constant — built from published literature and cited so you can check it. The citations are real and the sources are linked. The reading of them is the author's, and one reading is not a consensus.
Where the evidence is preliminary, the text says so. A single study is a data point, not a verdict. A press release is not a paper. Where a field is genuinely contested, the contest is named rather than resolved by fiat.
Much of what this publication covers runs on models, and models deserve their own honesty. A projection is a range, not a prophecy. Model outputs quoted here — warming trajectories, tipping windows, regional shifts — are signals about the shape and direction of a system, not forecasts of particular years. Where model disagreement dominates the uncertainty, the text says that too. Treat every magnitude as an estimate with error bars, whether or not the bars are drawn.
Some articles extend a finding past what its authors claimed, or run a mechanism forward to see where it lands. Those passages are marked as hypotheses and thought experiments. They are written to be falsifiable, not to be believed. Treat them as questions worth testing, not conclusions worth acting on.
